The air is now full of toxins and pollutants even in your house. Everyone has plants in their backyards and their balconies but keeping plants indoors has its own benefits. If you are a person who is conscious of their environment you should consider getting house plants.

Weeping Fig: 

This plant is an expert at removing toxins and pollutants like Benzene and Formaldehyde. This plant does not need direct sunlight nor does it grow larger than ten feet when indoors. It is essentially a tree but it also makes a great indoor plant.   

You can even keep this plant outside in springtime when it neither too hot nor too cold. But you must keep it in a place where sunlight doesn’t hit it directly. 

Lady Palm: 

Lady’s palm is another great plant that is easy to take care of. It survives really well in most conditions but doesn’t survive well in dry places its leave will turn brown if you do. It blooms flowers that are fragrant so if you don’t like fragrances then don’t get this one. 

If you then it is the best plant you can get. It also removes ammonia benzene and formaldehyde. All these toxins are commonly found in indoor spaces.  

Snake Plant: 

As the name suggests this plant prefers dire conditions. It likes the dry area and requires little sun exposure. You can go days without watering and it is one of the hardest indoor plants to kill. It is tough and kills toxins like trichloroethylene, Formaldehyde and Benzene and xylene.  

Rubber Plant: 

Rubber plant can survive in cold conditions easily and they are prone to infection in summers if you keep them outside. Which if you are landscaping with plants and want to put plants in your backyard rubber plant is not a good choice. 

For indoors, however, it is perfect. It is efficient at removing toxins like formaldehyde and requires low maintenance but don’t over water this plant.  

Bamboo Palm: 

Bamboo palm is our personal favorite. They can grow pretty tall and they love full sun and bright light and it very good at filtering formaldehyde from the air and Benzene. Moreover, it is a pet-friendly plant. 

Aloe Vera Plant: 

It is also known as the miracle plant that claims to have serious health benefits. It is also great at filtering out toxins. Like Formaldehyde.
