RUNESCAPE GUIDE #1
Yes, I know it is sad, but I play it. And I am quite good at it too. So, I was training yesterday and I thought, "why not make a training guide?"
And I did. And here it is. Attack/Defence/Strength Training guide for F2P (Free to play) I heard that the Zombies in the Stronghold of Security give out some good XP, and after testing that theory, I found that they did. So, start off by going to the barbarian village. You will need to bring food with you, I brought Trout and Salmon but lower levelled players should bring high HP restoring foods such as Apple pies or Lobsters. If you want to save money, then you will need a cooking level of 15 or above. To do this method, go to the river near the Village and pick up the salmon and trout that players drop while fishing. Then, cook them on one of the fires in the big building near the north. You should get about 23 or less, as you will need spaces for other items. Your inventory should look like this, with the exception of the other items: Let's take a closer look at the inventory... Red = Free slots to hold spoils from killing the enemies found in the Stronghold Green = Food for healing For now, get into the Stronghold. Get to the second floor. It should look like this: Now to get to the zombies that give out the most XP, you can follow this route as it is the quickest: Yellow = Level 30 Zombies Red = Level 28 Flesh Crawler Green line = Path to the Zombies Once there, you can start. Get as far to the West side of the cavern as you can, this will protect you from the aggressive Flesh Crawler. This is not so much to protect you, but to keep it from annoying you and wasting your food and time. This is my preferred spot: Cyan = Me As you can see, the Flesh Crawler is no longer an issue. If, however, it moves over to where you are, you can use the enemies and objects around the cavern to your advantage. For Example: As you can see, the Flesh Crawler is unable to get close to me because of the enemies in the way. Even the tiny Rats prevent it from getting past. After a certain period of time, the Flesh Crawler will become non-aggressive, but if you hit it by accident, it will hate you again. While you are killing the Zombies, be sure to collect the following: Coins Body Runes Steel Arrows Any Gemstones Ignore the bones unless you want to level up your prayer at the same time, and also ignore the beer and the ashes that they drop. The reason for this is because the beer and bones are not stackable, so you will have to drop them, bury them or bank them, which takes time. The chances of you finding a Gem are very slim, but nonetheless, keep every one you find. Sell whichever form is more expensive at the time (When this was written, Uncut Gems were more expensive by about 300 coins). Now for the arrows, collect a large amount (about 30), and wield them. These take up the arrow space in the "Equipment Screen" and so they save space. you will have to keep on wielding more arrows if you find more. Remember to eat food if your HP gets below half. Always eat in a safe spot. This is not a safe spot: Well, it is if both enemies are non-aggressive to you, but for a level 50-, it isn't, as both enemies will automatically attack you. Also, if you are a low level (or if the Flesh Crawler is still aggressive), it is best to either bring some friends, or find a world with low levelled players, as the Flesh Crawler will go for them first. Thank you for reading. ---End of Part 1--- |

RE: RUNESCAPE GUIDE #1
---Part 2---
So, you've been training for what, 10 minutes? And you're sick of the Flesh Crawler? Or just sick of the low levels? If so, then Part 2 is for you. For those for you who are feeling brave (or stupid), you can find higher levelled Zombies here. There are two paths you can take, one which avoids the Flesh Crawlers and one that doesn't. Both can be seen here: Yellow = Level 30 Zombies Red = Level 28 Flesh Crawler Blue = Level 44 Zombies Brown = Level 26 Giant Rats Green Line = Path 1 Grey Line = Path 2 The Giant Rats are non-aggressive, but can cause time wasting if you attack them by accident. These Zombies drop the same items as the lower levels, and I am not sure if they give out more XP, although they probably will with them being a higher level. More food is needed for this part as they can hit high. And so, the onslaught begins. Now let me get something straight here. I am not the first person to discover this. So there will be a chance that the place could be packed of low and high levelled players. For some reason, a lot more players gather around the level 30s. This is probably because of the ease of killing them, and the fact that they drop the same things as the level 40s. This could lead to a lot of kill-stealing. When you are low on food, don't eat as much. Conserve your energy and only eat when your HP is yellow/bordering on orange. Once you have ran out of food, then leave the stronghold and un-equip your arrows. You can now sell the spoils for quite a bit of money And on top of that, you get the Experience needed for a few levels up. Thank you for reading. ---End of Part 2--- |

RE: RUNESCAPE GUIDE #1
Nice one. If only the site was up I'd be able to post this. But alas, I am lazy and a beginner at PHP so the site is not done.
Mewthriii's random advice: Quote:If you start your C+C with "this sucks balls", don't expect them to give a flying f*ck about what you think. Whether you have natural talent or not, Karaoke conditions you to play very unimaginative songs. |

RE: RUNESCAPE GUIDE #1
Glad someone liked it! There are hundreds of guides out there. But I wanted to make a custom one.
